Scott Winer is an Emmy Award-winning camera operator for television sports and entertainment, based in South Florida.
His recent credits include Super Bowls 53 and 55, NCAA Division I Men’s Final Four and National Championship (2021-23), AFC Championship (2021, 2022, 2023), AFC Wild Card (2021-22), AFC Divisional Playoff (2016, 2018, 2020, 2022), NBA Playoffs (2014, 2016, 2018, 2021-23), Stanley Cup Final (2015), Stanley Cup Playoffs (2015-16, 2021-22), NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Tournament (2015-19, 2021-23) and NCAA Division II Men's Basketball Championship (2016-19).
He has worked on national and regional coverage of the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, MLS, professional tennis, lacrosse, beach volleyball, horse racing, MMA, boxing; college football, basketball, baseball, softball, soccer and hockey.

His first job in network television was as a runner for the NFL on CBS while in high school. From 2001-11, he provided production support for the network's coverage of the NFL, college basketball and football, tennis and thoroughbred racing.
Winer interned in the CBS Sports graphics department in 2007, working on projects for the NFL on CBS, NCAA, PGA Tour and CBS Sports Spectacular. For five years, he assisted editors on remote NFL and college basketball broadcasts on CBS, including the 2007 AFC Championship and three NCAA Men's Basketball Tournaments (2005, 2008, 2009).
As a college freshman, he worked as a director, associate director, replay and camera operator for the inaugural season of DomeTV (2003-04), the Carrier Dome's in-house video operation. From 2005-07, he served as a producer, director, field producer and editor for KUJH in Lawrence, Kansas.
He created and produced various short and long-form programs as a student, winning a Telly Award and Davey Award for the variety show On'CUSE (2005) and the 2007 KAB Award for best undergraduate entertainment program for the sports interview special, KU Q&A (2006). In 2003, he received two technical achievement honors from the Foundation of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences for producing and directing high school basketball, using a flypack he devised and constructed.
Winer is a 2008 graduate of The University of Kansas. He was born in Atlanta and resides with his husband DJ in Wellington, Florida.
